Conference Overview

15th World Congress on Neurohypophysial Hormones
(WCNH 2027)

23–28 May 2027 | Rethymno, Crete

The World Congress on Neurohypophysial Hormones (WCNH) has been held biennially since its inception in 1995 in Nasu, Japan. It brings together early-career and established investigators from around the world to share the latest advances in oxytocin and vasopressin research. Over the years, WCNH has become a leading forum for scientific exchange in this field, while also fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for emerging researchers.

WCNH 2027 continues this tradition, bringing together researchers working across multiple levels of analysis in a uniquely inspiring Mediterranean setting shaped by the landscapes and history of Crete.

The scientific programme will span developmental, physiological, behavioural, and clinical perspectives on oxytocin and vasopressin, as well as their interactions with broader neuroendocrine systems—from molecular mechanisms through to social behaviour and translational applications.

Scientific rigour will be complemented by a relaxed and engaging social programme, designed to encourage interaction and collaboration while exploring the natural and cultural richness of Crete—from its renowned beaches to world-class archaeological sites and outdoor activities.

The meeting will be hosted at the Aquila Rithymna Beach, a spectacular 5★ seaside resort offering a family-friendly environment and a wide range of facilities for all participants.
